Rae's Story

Introducing Pocket Rocket Rae Barnes — who, just 3 months ago (March '25), was given a firm nudge by her doctor. She was advised to join KWS to address her rising blood sugar levels.

Her blood sugar had climbed to 7, her weight wasn't in a healthy range, and she was facing the prospect of diabetes and medication unless something changed.

Rae had never done much exercise beyond walking. She’d never stepped foot inside a gym. But she knew she had a job to do — and she didn’t hesitate. She committed.

She drives 20 minutes to KWS and works out 4 times a week between 6.30 and 7.30am, for up to 60 minutes. That's commitment! and here’s the most beautiful part — her body now wants to move. It tells her to get up and get going because she’s on a mission.

In her first week while navigating moving in ways she'd never done before, Rae took a powerful step forward by booking her Nutrition & Lifestyle Tune-Up, part of the KWS experience. Together, we explored the QQT 80/20 Code and the ups and downs of her eating habits, unpacked the why, what, and how, and focused on simple, sustainable food and lifestyle changes that would fuel her workouts and her life.

She embraced it all — and has done so well.
